Round Robin Stage

6 competitors with 4 going through into the semi-final stages, but NZ only in this stage for the fun of it (They are already in the final)
Only one challenger team therefore is knocked out after this stage
29th Aug-1st Sep (Thurs-Sun) First Round consisting of 15 races (weather permitting)
3rd-4th Sep (Tues-Wed) - 1st part of Second Round (8 races)
7th-8th Sep (Sat-Sun) - Final Races of 2nd Round (7 races) - and Sally's birthday ;)

Note - Sailing rarely happens to schedule due to the mischievous wind gods and their persistent tomfoolery

Racing starts at 14.00hrs each day from the 29th August

There are 2 Fanzones where you can view the racing and there are also giant screens and commentary (....and hopefully some in English?)

These Fanzones are located at Plaça del Mar and Port Olímpic (see maps below)

There is also Race Village, with screens, a main stage, activities & exhibitions, but you cannot see the water from here

All 3 areas are free, no tickets required and open from 12.00hrs (capacilty is limited)
